Safe is my first attempt at an atmospheric trance type tune. I designed the whole track around one repeating chord progression that I syncopated with an odd time signature. I wanted the track to be melodic and emotive, and for it to grow from a simple, distant reflection to a symphonic climax using only the single riff. I haven't recorded the vocals yet, but I'm planning to keep them simple and have them build in tandem with the music. Until then, the instrumental version will be posted on all Skinwalker Audio sites.
